DISCOVERY
Any personality profile assessment can be intriguing. We are all curious about what makes us tick at some level. Self-awareness helps you to identify your strengths, how you work best, communicate, influence and respond to different situations.
We are all different. By understanding the characteristics that make us all unique, we can play to our core strengths and develop our limitations. This way we work better together as a team.
I have come across and completed many personality assessment tools used to identify core skills, strengths, behaviours and traits throughout my working career.
Life can be puzzling. People can be puzzling. But above all, your relationships can be most puzzling. Let’s face it, life is about relationships: personally, professionally, and socially.

Do you wonder why some people are so easy to love, work for, and befriend, while constant effort is required to build and maintain a healthy relationship with others?
What part do you play in making the relationships in your life work?
Every relationship begins with YOU. Who are you? Do you really understand why you think and behave as you do? Imagine the power of truly knowing yourself, what motivates you, and how you impact the relationships in your life”.
I discovered the Colour Code personality profiling system while I was transitioning from being a public sector employee to becoming self-employed. It wasn’t an easy transition and learning about my own motivations and understanding my strengths and limitations through the Colour Code profile helped me accept that there was nothing wrong with me. I just needed to understand why I did what I did. I now use personality profiling as one of the tools to coach and train people to work more effectively within teams and build personal and professional relationships.
The Colour Code Personality Profiling was developed by Dr Taylor Hartman, it’s simple, accurate, and helps you to understand how you can make sense out of life’s relationship puzzles.
Your personality determines whether you are easily frustrated, casual, critical or carefree. Do you dash off at the last minute for an appointment, or always arrive with time to spare? Is your desk cluttered or well organised? Do you seek deep, meaningful conversations, or would you rather risk your life on a thrilling adventure? Are you most comfortable leading or following others? Your personality is more than just an “attitude”. It causes your preferences, actions, and reactions in life.
The tool uses 4 colours -Red, Blue, White and Yellow. The key point to remember is what MOTIVATES each of the Colours. In other words, what is the driving force behind the way that you think, behave, and feel. This is called the “Driving Core Motive” or “DCM” for short.
Here is a list of the DCMs by Colour Code:

Reds are motivated by Power

Whites are motivated by Peace

Blues are motivated by Intimacy

Yellows are motivated by Fun
Every colour has its strengths and limitations and there is no right or wrong colour combination in a relationship.
Every colour has needs and wants. How the needs and wants are fulfilled will also impact upon how you deal with challenges and how this impacts upon your resilience.
The key is understanding what makes you tick and what motivates you to do what you do. With this understanding you can communicate, influence, inspire and connect more effectively in all your relationships. This is crucial for developing self-confidence, self-esteem and resilience.
There is no colour that is better or worse than any other colour.

I am a certified Colour Code trainer and able to provide in-depth feedback on your Colour Code profile and share how it can help you to understand your innate personality and the effect that has on your decisions and actions.
We must value our personalities for their many gifts. However, we must also learn to develop our personalities if we hope to grow and become more than we were at birth. We must challenge our core personality limitations to develop effective relationships in work and our personal lives.
In this program you will receive a full personality profile report, additional resources and videos and consists of a 90-minute coaching session.
